The main organizer of the recent protests in support of former defense minister Mykhailo Fedorov that have spread from Kyiv across Ukraine announces the end of the movement. He says the protests were successful at least in removing Oleksandr Syrsky and appointing Mykhailo Drapaty as new commander in chief of the armed forces. He also says the protests weren't about personalities and wishes new Defense Minister Yevhenii Khmara success. Regarding Fedorov and his explosive video statement Tuesday night slamming Zelenskyy and calling for elections, he sides with the vast majority of society which polls show does not want elections in wartime: "I view elections during wartime negatively—I can't imagine how to technically enable thousands of soldiers currently on the front lines to vote and run for office. I'm also deeply concerned about the societal divisions during the election process and how that could affect the course of the war.
