The Embassy of Ukraine in Poland is expecting a strong response from the Polish authorities following an incident at the border where protesting farmers spilled part of the grain from Ukrainian trucks. Ukrainian Ambassador to Poland, Vasyl Zvarych, stated that the Ukrainian trucks, sealed after customs procedures and en route to Lithuania, were stopped by farmers who dumped part of the grain. The Ukrainian Embassy and Consulate General in Lublin have appealed to the Polish police to open a case, and the police have initiated proceedings.
